Chandler highlighted America’s “relationship recession” and why so many people struggle with toxic dating cycles. “One of the biggest mistakes is not sticking to your values,” he explained. “Sometimes people get lonely and jump into relationships without realizing the person doesn’t align with their beliefs. Next thing you know, six months or even six years have passed in a relationship that was never meant to last.”

He also stressed the importance of setting clear boundaries while dating. “First, cut off the ex. If you’re not dating, they don’t need to be your bestie,” he advised. Another major mistake? Oversharing too soon. “People start talking about marriage and kids within the first few months, but they’re really just giving away pieces of their heart too early,” he warned.

For those stuck in long-term relationships with no clarity on marriage, Chandler urged a reset. “Time is the one thing you can’t get back. If you know the person you’re dating isn’t the one, do the honorable thing and call it quits so you can make room for the right person,” he said.
