As Love Week takes center stage, Erica and Warryn shared insights from their own relationship, offering advice to couples on how to navigate commitment. Warryn emphasized the importance of thoroughly evaluating a partner before committing to a lifelong relationship. “Do your homework. Take your time, date for a long time,” he said. “Make a really good assessment before you make that kind of commitment.”
Erica added that age shouldn’t rush anyone into making hasty decisions. “You don’t want to make a choice out of desperation just because you’re a certain age,” she explained. “You are worth taking the time and making sure this is who you want to build a life with.”

The couple also shared the value of taking time to really understand your partner. Warryn pointed out that sometimes, it takes a long time to get to know the real person—not just the “representative” version that people show at first. He further advised couples to pay attention to how their partner responds under pressure, as it can reveal deeper layers of their personality.
Erica agreed, adding that it’s important to understand how your partner reacts to stress or adversity—whether they lash out, withdraw, or use unhealthy coping mechanisms. “What do they do? Do they drink? Do they smoke?” she asked. “What’s their vice?”

While the Campbells recognize that relationships take work, they believe it’s vital to know what you’re working with. They encourage couples to have open conversations about important topics such as family, children, finances, faith, and how they view God.
Before signing off, Warryn jokingly reminded listeners that there’s a “fine line between love and nausea,” leaving Erica laughing as they wrapped up their Valentine’s Day segment. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Happy Love Week, everybody!” they both wished to their listeners.
Their heartfelt conversation serves as a reminder that love is a journey that requires patience, understanding, and, most importantly, knowing who you’re truly committing to.
