It’s time for the Faith Walk of the Day. You know, we all have that one person in our lives who seems completely unbothered by the chaos around them. For the longest time, I thought it was just their personality—some people are naturally chill, right? But then I realized it was deeper than that. It wasn’t just that they were unbothered; they were operating from a place of true peace. A place rooted in trusting God, in knowing what He has done before, and in refusing to let other people’s drama steal their joy.

Let’s be real—keeping your peace is a skill. A necessary one. Because people will test you. They will frustrate you, annoy you, and try your patience. And every day, you have to make a choice: will you hold onto your peace, or will you let it go? Philippians 4:7 reminds us, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” That’s the key—guarding both your heart and your mind. Because your mind will process things on a surface level, reacting to what you see and experience, but your heart knows the deeper truth.

Sometimes, what you see doesn’t match what you feel. Fear might creep in, doubt may whisper in your ear, but that doesn’t change the truth of who God is. Just because you feel afraid doesn’t mean God has left you. Just because you feel alone doesn’t mean you are alone. That’s why choosing peace isn’t about ignoring reality—it’s about surrendering to the truth of God. And when we do that, peace follows. So today, choose peace. Let your heart and mind submit to the truth of God, and watch how He moves in your life.
