Kierra Sheard Opens Up About Faith, Motherhood, and Exciting New Music

Gospel artist Kierra Sheard recently joined Erica Campbell on Get Up Mornings to discuss her latest single, “All Yours,” from her album All Yours. The heartfelt track, co-written by Kierra, her brother J. Drew Sheard, and Anthony Brown, holds a special place in her heart.

“When you’re tired of doing things your way and finally surrender to God, that’s when things really start to align,” Kierra shared. “I’m at that place where I want to be all His. This song resonates with that surrender, and I believe it’s timeless for anyone in that posture of giving it all to Him.”
In addition to her music, Kierra opened up about balancing motherhood with her demanding career. “I salute every working mother who stays committed to their family. It’s not just about having a cute baby to dress up; it’s a whole other responsibility,” she said. Kierra credited her strong support system, which includes her parents, brother, and husband Jordan Kelly, for helping her navigate this season of life. “My community has been a tremendous blessing. They speak to both the natural and the spiritual, allowing me to stay in purpose without feeling guilty. As mothers, we often try to be superwomen, but having faith-filled people around me has made all the difference.”

Kierra also shared her excitement about new projects, including a collaboration between her record label and Tribal Records. She revealed that she and her brother J. Drew are working on a live recording that holds deep meaning for them. “We were in the studio two days ago, and both of us got teary-eyed over the songs God has given us. This is going to be something truly special,” she said.
