Dante explained that “Grateful” was originally written over a year ago for a different project but found new meaning this year. “One of my friends went through a troubling situation with her family and kids, and she said the song gave her a breakthrough,” he shared. Her experience motivated him to release the track during Thanksgiving, emphasizing its universal message. “No matter what we’re going through, it’s always good to be grateful and stay positive.”

The collaboration with Fridayy came about naturally after the two met at the Soul Train Awards. “We performed there and connected over our faith,” Dante said. “It was a natural connection, and we decided to work on something together.”

When asked about his evolution as an artist, Dante reflected on his journey. “I’m still evolving,” he admitted. “I try to stay open-minded and grow with God. Right now, gratitude is the message, but there’s more to come.” He noted that he recently released another song with Maverick City Music, adding that his creative process is driven by what feels natural and aligned with his faith.

Co-host Griff touched on the challenges Dante has faced in the music industry, asking if he remains grateful despite it all. “Of course, man,” Dante said confidently. “God has been good.”

Before wrapping up, Erica asked how fans could support him through prayer. “Pray for my evolution and that I stay closer to God every day,” Dante requested. He also invited listeners to stay connected with him on social media and his website, dantebowe.com, where he hinted at a potential tour announcement soon.
