MAJOR. has returned with an uplifting anthem, “I Prayed For You,” designed to remind the world of the power of prayer and divine strength in tough times. During a recent interview on The Get Up! Church, the platinum-selling artist shared how the song serves as a love letter to the world, with the central message being that prayer provides direct access to the heart of God. “It’s a love letter to the heart of the world to remind them that there’s still power in prayer,” MAJOR. explained. “It’s direct access to the heart of the Father. I want you to know we’re going to be alright, beautiful people.”

The song’s timing is especially poignant, according to MAJOR., who explained that its release coincided with a period when the world most needed hope. “It just so happened to be at the most needed time,” he said. “The temperature is hot right now. There’s division, fear, trepidation, and concern. And I just wanted to speak to the heart of the world at that intersection where we hope ain’t ever canceled.” MAJOR. went on to emphasize that despite external challenges, it’s important to hold onto God’s promise that He will never leave us. “We don’t need the permission of situations lining up to look the exact way that we want them to before we believe,” he added.
