Franklin explained that the tour is bigger and better this time around, with new visuals and a fresh setlist. “It’s a whole different musical set with new arrangements, visuals, and transitions,” he said, adding that he’s even bringing back some older songs fans haven’t heard in a while. He also reflected on how humbling it is to see fans singing along to his music. “It’s humbling to hear people do your music like that… you can’t even fathom it,” he shared.

When Mr. Griff asked how it feels to perform for such large crowds, even those who may not go to church but show up for his concerts, Franklin got real. “I just want people to know that [God] is real, He’s kind, He’s patient, He’s forgiving, He’s merciful, and He’s ours,” he said, emphasizing that his goal is always to point people back to God, no matter how he does it.
Franklin also opened up about his relationship with his father, acknowledging their ongoing journey of healing. “He’s a good man, and he’s given me the patience to go my patience,” he said.
For young gospel artists struggling with the pressures of the industry, Franklin had this advice: “Do it for an audience of one… do it as an offering back to Him. And whatever doors are meant for you, you’ll walk in them.”
In the end, Franklin’s message was clear: stay true to your faith, be yourself, and trust that everything will fall into place.
