As I looked back at pictures of my kids when they were younger, I felt a wave of joy. Tose snapshots bring back such wonderful memories, but they often leave out the less glamorous parts of parenting, like changing diapers or cleaning up messes. I mentioned, “We remember the sweet times… but we don’t always capture when you had to get up in the middle of the night.”

As a mother, I expressed my excitement for the future milestones in my children’s lives—like their first steps in faith, their marriages, and even the possibility of them becoming parents. I encouraged everyone not to dwell too much on past achievements but to stay open to the new experiences that God has in store.

I also shared some advice for a friend who was feeling scared about stepping into a new ministry role. I reminded her, “Don’t you overinflate the goodness of this last season,” bringing up the struggles she’d faced before. My mantra is, “Prepare me for what you have prepared for me,” which really resonates with me. It’s all about being ready to embrace new challenges.

I want to inspire everyone to let go of fear and negativity. “The enemy is loud… seek out the truth,” I urged. It’s important to remember that many of the fears we hold onto are just illusions of what might happen, not actual realities. My message is a reminder to cherish the past while also staying excited about the future and all the possibilities it holds.

So, I encourage everyone to “get up and go” as we shift to sharing joys and concerns for the day, focusing on the importance of walking in divine authority.
